I have provided expert reports for medico-legal purposes since 1985. I currently produce around 100 reports annually, with a 80/20 split between claimant & defendant.
Personal injury assessments
I provide expert reports for a wide range of personal injury scenarios including road traffic accidents, work-related injuries, and surgical complications. My reports are clear, detailed, and evidence-based, helping to support litigation or settlement decisions.
Clinical negligence reporting
My reports cover allegations of surgical error, misdiagnosis, delayed diagnosis, and poor post-operative outcomes. Each report includes a thorough review of the patient’s history, medical records, and applicable clinical standards.
Second opinions
I offer impartial second opinions on clinical diagnoses, surgical planning, or outcome disputes. These are particularly useful in complex or borderline cases, and I’m happy to liaise directly with instructing solicitors.
Home visits if needed
I understand that some claimants are unable to travel due to medical or personal reasons. I am willing to visit claimants at home to ensure proper assessment, where appropriate.
Joint expert statements and pre-trial advice
Where required, I collaborate on joint statements and provide assistance with pre-trial preparation. My reports follow CPR Part 35 guidelines, and I am familiar with court expectations for expert evidence.

Yes. While around 95% of my reports are for claimants, I do accept instructions from defendants or on a joint basis where appropriate.
Yes. If required, I can often see a client within two weeks and return a report within a further two weeks, subject to availability. Standard turnaround is typically 3–4 months.
Absolutely. If a claimant is unable to travel due to medical or personal circumstances, I can arrange a home visit within a reasonable radius.
